Intraoral Camera
In the past, dentists were only able to describe to patients what they were seeing in their mouths. With Kodak intraoral cameras, however, you won’t have to use your imagination or rely on words alone; you can see every cavity or sign of gum disease for yourself. The high-quality images provided by the camera are displayed on a monitor in high detail, letting you take a close look at what’s going on inside your mouth.
Digital X-Rays
The original approach for taking dental X-rays came with several drawbacks; the images took time to develop, and patients needed to be exposed to a significant amount of radiation. Fortunately, digital technology has allowed us to make the X-ray process far safer and faster than before. Dr. Lisk has invested in the Carestream Health digital X-ray system, which allows us to immediately transfer the images to a computer monitor where they can be easily viewed; there’s no need for a chemical-filled dark room, and radiation is reduced by up to 90%.
